juli hat mir einmal geschrieben dass sie gerne wüsste was die tiere so erlebt haben, und wie es gekommen ist dass sie in einem tierheim, einer tötungsstation oder einfach auf einer landstrasse oder einem parkplatz landeten. und dann wieder, einen satz später, schrieb sie, nein, eigentlich wolle sie es dann eigentlich doch nicht wissen. es würde uns wohl zu traurig machen in vielen fällen, und zu zornig in vielen anderen. aber es würde helfen zu verstehen wie die tiere reagieren, wie sie sich benehmen, wovor sie angst haben und was ihnen gefällt.

juli once wrote that she would like to know what the animals went through, and how it came that they ended in a shelter, an euthanization station, or just on a country road or a parking lot. and then, one sentence later, she wrote that on the other hand she actually does not want to know. it would make us too sad in many cases, and too angry in many others. but it would help to understand how the animals react, and how they behave, what they fear and what they like.

nun, mummi liegt jetzt nicht mehr alleine, minitücsi liegt neben ihm, und andere werden folgen. respekt in den letzten jahren des lebens, und respekt nach dem tod.

und respekt vor den menschen, die den tieren diesen respekt erweisen.

well, mummi does not rest alone any more, minitücsi joined him, and others will follow. they were respected in the last years of their lives, and respected after death as well.

and respect to the people who pay this respect to the animals.
